About me

I am an artist who was born and raised in the multi cultural, working class suburb of Manurewa in South Auckland,  NZ.

Art took a hold of me as a child,  I spent hours drawing and colouring topics of interests,  influenced strongly by New Zealands natural beauty and surrounded by artist of all cultures,  but heavily influenced by Polynesian and Maori art and Tattoo.

 

I took a keen interest in visual art throughout school and continued my interest as I sought to explore the world through my late teens and twenties. Through exploration and experimenting,  ideas of colour, pattern and reflection were often at the forefront of my creative side. Influenced by fellow artists from many different backgrounds I have honed my craft to create a style which I feel is my own.
